In this video, Roxie (the horse) returned to Quinn (the stablemate). See her recovery story and video explanation here: http://brendeau.com/roxies-place/ Roxie was in the hospital for 8 weeks. She was impaled under her neck. She lost about 150 lbs because she wasn't able to eat. She has made a complete recovery; she has to be able to gain weight and maintain it. She coughed when she ate, a liquid form of grass was coming out her nose. Some nerve damage in the tongue was a problem. But totally improved now, 8 years later. We are eternally grateful to the South Shore Equine Clinic in Plympton, Mass., for their caring, nurturing and overall great veterinarian services; which included an emergency call on a Saturday morning on March 20, 2010.
