They Couldn't Fix Their Xbox One X - Can I? I run a game console repair shop and sometimes I like to share interesting customer repairs with you. A customer sent in his Xbox One X for repair after he was unable to correctly replace the retimer chip and get it working again. He said he doesn't regret trying to fix his console, even though it didn't work, because he learned a lot. I really respect people who try to fix their game consoles because that's how I got started too: lots of trial and error!
